We’re proud to feature Kerby Hatter ’12, ’15, Vice President of the Alumni Association Board of Directors! Kerby earned her B.S. in University Studies and Doctor of Pharmacy from Shenandoah, and today she’s a pharmacy manager at AbsoluteCare, helping patients access and understand life‑saving medications. She’s also served as one of the pharmacists for the Pittsburgh Pirates, a role that sparked her passion for sports medicine pharmacy and expanded her impact in the field.⚾

Kerby credits Shenandoah connections, including alumna Jen Davis, for opening doors early in her career. Now, she’s giving back by helping future Hornets access the same opportunities that shaped her journey.

Living in Pittsburgh and planning a November 2026 wedding, Kerby loves exploring new places, being outdoors, and spending time with loved ones. 🐝💙❤

A decade of impact and still rising ✨

Ten years ago, Tyrone A. Parker II ’17 set out to remove the financial barriers he once faced as a student. Today, that dream has grown into the TAP Foundation, celebrating 10 years of expanding educational access.

💬Parker shared: “Awarding scholarships to students from my alma mater is a special moment because I once sat where they are today… Supporting students from single‑parent households and helping them pursue their dreams has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”
