Eastern Brown Bands The Pride of Brown County! The official Facebook home of Eastern Brown Bands.

Eastern Brown Bands have a rich tradition of musical excellence in southwest Ohio and are focused on producing lifelong lovers of music. Eastern Brown Band students maintain an active schedule and participate in OMEA District 16 Large Group and Solo and Ensemble events, local honor bands, and chamber ensembles. The Eastern Warrior Guard is proud to represent Brown County at various parades, community activities, and local competitions.

College football kicks off over the next 2 weekends 🏈

And we have some EB alumni who will be a part of the game day experience!

Josey Davis (alto sax, ‘26) and Karson Overstake (trumpet, ‘24) in the Bowling Green Falcon Marching Band

Eva Delgado (color guard, ‘23) in the UC Bearcat Band

Madison Gould (clarinet, ‘24) in the Miami University Marching Band

And Andrew Campbell (trumpet, ‘25) in the Ohio University Marching 110!

In addition, Hendrix Likerman (‘23), Kaleb Higle (‘26), and Alex Cenci (‘26) are pursuing music degrees at Wright State and Evan Little (‘24) is attending Ohio University for music production!

When life gives you lemons… 🍋

A last minute venue change disrupted our afternoon plans, but our marching band students were flexible, resilient, and got the job done!

We worked together to move all of our equipment to the middle school gym (and back afterwards!) and stirred up some “Mayhem in Macon” @ Red & White Night!

If you’ve never seen us from up top (or if you’ve seen us a dozen times!), mark your calendars and come see a show this fall. We promise you won’t be disappointed!

We celebrated drum corps at rehearsal today!

Seth Reed (left) finished 5th place in the All-Age Class with Cincinnati Tradition. The corps earned an all-time high score at their performance in Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday!

The Bluecoats (Canton, OH) earned their 3rd Gold Medal at the DCI Championships this past weekend. Mr. Hoagland, Ethan, and Ellie wore their Bluecoats swag in support!

Band Camp ✔️

Our rookies completed their first Band Camp and our Senior Class of 2027 completed their last ever Band Camp!

A huge thank you to our staff for their hard work! Ms. Mitchell (flutes and clarinets), Luke Hirschler (saxophones), Hendrix Likerman (trumpets), Andrew Campbell (trumpets and a little bit of everything), Grant Stephan (low brass), Keenan Massey (percussion, not pictured), and Eva Delgado (color guard, not pictured).

Another huge thank you to Tiffany Smith and her team for feeding us all week!

We are focused, enthusiastic, and ready for another memorable marching band season!

Tonight, we held our first ever “Eastern Brown Bands History Night.”

Mikey Collett (class of 2018), Olivia Broughton (class of 2020), and Hendrix Likerman (class of 2023) spoke to us about their band experience, what the “band family” means to them, and how band still impacts their life today.

We also presented the membership with a Band Necklace (handmade by band alums Sierra Mitchell, Alynna Schumacher, and Hannah Troutman) to commemorate the 2026 marching band season.

We are all honored to be a small part of the Eastern Brown Band Legacy and we are excited for this marching band season!
