We visited the George C. Marshall Manor in Leesburg on Friday! We had a beautiful tour of the house and ate lunch on their beautiful grounds!

📕 We have been working on a STEM project for a few weeks now! After reading Freckle Juice by Judy Blume, the students worked on their own FJ recipes.
🛒 They made their draft list, we went to Martins to price check, and then they wrote their recipes!
🧃 Today, we had judges come taste their special drinks and vote!
🤩Thanks to Mandy VanFossen from East Coast Gymnastics and Cheer, Ann Fox from Fox Urban Farms, Ismael Carino from Poblanos Mexican Restaurant, and Coach Hunter from ECGC! Also, a big thanks to Marie Singer and Joanna Upson who helped us prepare! We appreciate your time!
🎈Our winner was Student #1. Ingredients were sprite, gummy worms, and Scorpion hot sauce!

📕 Author, Cindy Witty visited us on Monday to share her newest book with us! She shared her dream of becoming an author with us and how she made that goal happen!! We so appreciate her taking the time to come visit us!!
