Huge thank you to SLC parent Kara Capelli for leading an insightful and engaging presentation about Down syndrome and about what makes all of us unique and special.
Using 23 pairs of socks, Kara visually demonstrated an extra chromosome on pair 21.

Students and teachers learned so much!
This presentation matched the desire our school has to set an example of making room for everyone at the table ❤️
