Another great day of hands on learning for our Equine Science students!

A huge thank you to Ms. Suzanne at Bel Canto Farms for welcoming our students out to the farm, sharing her knowledge and experience, and giving our students the opportunity to learn more about the equine industry firsthand. We also want to thank the farrier for taking the time to demonstrate and explain the importance of hoof care and proper horse maintenance.

Our students had an incredible experience, and to top it all off, we even got to meet a baby kangaroo! Thank you again to everyone who helped make this such a fun and educational trip for our students. We are so thankful for community partners who continue to support agricultural education and inspire the next generation of horsemen and horsewomen! 🐎

Our Advanced Floral Design students have been hard at work bringing wedding visions to life! From prepping arrangements to setting up florals for the big day, these students have truly gone above and beyond and done an incredible job every step of the way.

What makes this even more impressive? They balanced all of this while also preparing prom florals at the same time. Their creativity, dedication, and teamwork have been amazing to watch, and we are so proud of the work they’ve accomplished.

A huge shoutout to Mrs. Rodriguez for always going above and beyond for her students and creating fun, hands on learning experiences like this that give our students real world opportunities to showcase their talents. Great job, Lobos! 💙💐

Congratulations to Allyson Reynolds on earning her Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) Level 1 certification! Ally completed over 300 clinical hours and had all skills signed off by a licensed DVM or LVT, showing her dedication and passion for the veterinary field.

Ally has been part of our animal science program since her freshman year, growing her passion through Animal Science.

She has committed to Paul Quinn College in Dallas to continue her soccer career and plans to attend veterinary school after completing her undergraduate degree.

We are so proud of you, Ally! Good luck on this next chapter 🌟

Congratulations to Carlos Hernandez on earning his CVA Level 1 certification, such a huge accomplishment! Carlos has been an absolute standout in our Animal Science program. He has excelled in his coursework, put in the time and dedication to complete over 300 clinical hours, and successfully got all of his skills signed off.

Carlos is also a key member of our Floriculture team, where his hard work and commitment have made a big impact. Always willing to step up, help others, and represent our program with pride, we are so proud of everything he has accomplished!

We want to congratulate Maribel Camacho for earning her CVA level 1!

After excelling in every course, completing 300+ clinical hours, and getting all of her skills signed off, Maribel has proven her dedication to this field. As a key member of our Vet Science team, she consistently came through with top scores and was always willing to support and lift up her teammates.

We are so proud of you, Maribel, and we already know you’re going to do amazing things at Texas A&M.
