💙❤️ Meet the Team: Mr. Werner

We’d like to introduce Mr. Werner, our Agricultural Mechanics Teacher at Wimberley High School! 🔧

My name is Brent Werner and I have been a part of the Wimberley community since 2015. My two boys go to school and Danforth Junior High and are very active in sports and BSA. I was a Den Leader and Cubmaster for Pack 127 and I’m now Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 127 here in Wimberley.
I’ve been a professional welder for 15 years and I’ve taught welding for 12. I became the Ag Mechanic teacher at WHS in December 2023. The FFA organization is new to me but the people I have met in this community can be the nicest people. I look forward to building this program up and creating matured adults that everyone wants to shake hands with when they see them in town.

We are proud to have Mr. Werner as part of the Wimberley FFA family and excited to see all that he continues to bring to our students and program! ❤️💙🔧

❤️💙 Excited to Be a Part of Wimberley FFA! 💙❤️

I’m so excited to officially begin this new chapter at Wimberley High School as your Agriculture Science Teacher and FFA Advisor!

I’ve been teaching Agricultural Science for 15 years and have had the opportunity to teach a variety of agriculture courses, coach leadership and career development teams—including state-winning teams—manage livestock projects, and oversee greenhouse and aquaculture programs. Most importantly, I’ve loved watching students grow in confidence, leadership, and life skills along the way.
Outside of school, I’m married and a proud mom of three. My family keeps me busy with soccer, swimming, Cub Scouts, and plenty of family time!
As we begin this school year, I’m excited to get to know our students, families, and community. My goal is to build an FFA chapter where every student feels welcome and has an opportunity to learn, grow, lead, and find their place.

I’m new to Wimberley, but I’m excited to learn from this community, build on the traditions that make Wimberley FFA special, and create new opportunities together.

Here’s to a great year of growing, learning, making memories, and building a future we can be proud of! 🌱❤️💙
