A small tip for homework time:

When a student says, “I don’t get it,” try asking:

“Show me the last part that did make sense.”

It’s a simple question, but it can turn a frustrating homework session into something much more manageable.

Instead of starting the whole lesson over, you can often find the exact point where things stopped clicking, and work forward from there.

Sometimes students know more than they think they do. They just need help finding where they got lost.

We’re excited to introduce our newest tutor, Sarah, who brings an incredible depth of experience in mathematics.

Sarah earned both her PhD and Master’s degree in Mathematics from Louisiana State University and has more than 20 years of experience teaching college-level math. Her teaching experience includes everything from algebra and statistics to Calculus I-III, discrete math, advanced calculus, and differential equations.

Sarah will be working with students remotely throughout New Hampshire, as well as offering in-person tutoring in the Keene area.

The school year is officially underway!

We’ve really enjoyed getting to know some new students and families over the past few weeks and seeing returning students settle back in.

One thing we hear often from parents is that sometimes a student doesn’t need a completely different lesson, they just need someone to sit with them, slow things down, and explain something in a different way.

That’s a big part of what our tutors do.

We’re looking forward to another busy week of tutoring across New Hampshire, both online and in person.

Granite Learning is Growing – We're Looking for a Few Great Tutors!

Granite Learning is expanding across New Hampshire, and we're looking to add a small number of exceptional tutors to our team.

We provide one-on-one tutoring (both virtual and in person, depending on location) in subjects including math, reading, writing, science, SAT/ACT prep, and more.

We're looking for tutors who are:
