THE CENTER DIFFERENCE
The Center difference is our obsession with quality intervention and meaningful progress. These interactions are mutually beneficial.
The Center for Growth & Development is comprise of two separate but complimentary components: Dynamic intervention programs for children with special needs and a Preschool program designed for typically developing children Whether your child has special needs and is participating in an intensive intervention program to learn communication, play, and social skills, or is a student in our preschool
program geared for typically developing children, he/she will be motivated and engaged by teachers and therapists who are focused on making the most out of every day. PRESCHOOL
Our preschool is a nurturing and engaging environment designed to bring out the best in each child. We offer a full day of learning, with hands-on curriculum selected to meet the developmental needs of children at each stage and tailored to each individual child’s strengths and interests. Our team of preschool teachers are professionals who love their work and look forward to each day in the classroom, weaving learning into play throughout the day. INCLUSION
Opportunities for children with special needs and typically developing children to interact with each other are available throughout the day. This can take place in a 1:1, small group, and classroom scenarios. Children with special needs have the chance to practice their language, social, and play skills and develop friendships in a comfortable setting with the support of a teacher or therapist. Typically developing children’s experiences are enriched by exposure to neurodiversity, where they develop empathy and hone social skills and confidence that support their adaptability to a wide range of social and educational situations as they grow.
