The Wilton Early Childhood Center is a non-profit pre-school that offers classes for children birth through age 6. We have both a pre-school and pre-kindergarten class as well as a playgroup. There is a tuition for the pre-school($50 per month) and the pre-kindergarten($65 per month). The playgroup is free and open to all children birth to age 6 and their families. Pre-school meets on Tues and Thu

rs from 9-11, Pre-Kindergarten meets on Mon, Wed, and Fri from 9-11:30. The playgroup is open as long as school is open and is not a drop off class.

As I posted on here, my Pre-School teaching years have come to an end😢 With that comes the need to clean out my classroom and sell everything in it. So if you are looking for toys, craft supplies, furniture for small kiddos, a really nice sturdy playhouse, books...soooooo many books, etc., let me know. I may have things you are looking for and am willing to take offers. Would love all of our wonderful items to go to some good homes🤗

Today was our last, last day of Pre-School. The Wilton Early Childhood Center will be closing. While it is sad, and believe me I have shed many a tear today, it is the right time. WECC was started as a Co-operative Pre-School to be run by parents in cooperation with the teachers. Times have changed! The demands of school and needs of children have changed, and we changed as much as we could with these new demands. But the sustainability is difficult. So I made the very hard, and sad decision, that this year was my last. Thank you to every family and child who has walked through WECC. Thank you for trusting me with your children. Thank you for allowing me to form relationships that will last a lifetime. Thank you for giving me one of my most cherished titles, Miss Amy🤗 I am so blessed to be a part of so many lives. Being a teacher, and parent, at WECC has been one of my greatest joys! My heart is sad, but so very full❤️☺️❤️

Such hard workers! We celebrated March going out like a lamb, and made some bird feeders to welcome spring🐥 While they don’t know how many skills I am able to cram into one project😉, here are just a few of the things these projects focused on...brush grip, no “floating” colors, painting inside the lines, feet in front and no wiggling in our chairs, using both hands for our projects, one to paint and one to hold so our paper doesn’t “run away”, fine motor practice putting those small Cheerios on our bird feeders...such concentration! These kiddos have come so far this year...Such an amazing group🤗 Happy Spring☀️🌈🌸
