High Mowing School Founded in 1942, HMS offers day and boarding programs for US and International High School Students.

By the end of their three-week Surveying & Trigonometry block, our tenth graders will have calculated every coordinate by hand and turned the High Mowing high school campus into a map that is accurate within inches. We suspect they’ll get to know the hill better than any of us! Stay tuned for the final map creations!

Actress Carrie-Anne Moss recently debuted a dress on the red carpet designed by HMS alum Seriena Rose ’26.

The high-profile commission continued a passion for clothing design that ENNA by Seriena Rose nurtured while she was a student at High Mowing School. For her senior capstone project, Seriena created and produced a fashion design runway show, in which she designed and sewed 15 unique dresses. She is now continuing her studies at Parsons BFA Fashion Design

We couldn’t be more proud of Seriena and this incredible accomplishment. Congratulations, Seriena! We can’t wait to see where your creativity takes you next. ❤️

Our cross country team kicked off the season at Dublin School. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams represented High Mowing with pride, bringing home impressive results.

On the girls’ side, Maebelle H. and Dylan B. led the charge with top ten finishes of 6th and 9th place, helping the girls secure 3rd place overall in the team standings. For the boys, Alec B. blasted out of the gate and onto the podium with a 3rd place finish, shocking everyone except himself. The boys finished 2nd overall.

With the season officially underway, team spirit is soaring and expectations are high!

Not every choice changes your life. For Charles, this one did. Choosing High Mowing meant finding a community that felt like home, learning to take chances, and discovering that what you pour into a community, you get back tenfold.

Seniors: here's to a year as bold and meaningful as the journey that brought each of you here. And to every student at High Mowing, we can't wait to see how this year unfolds!

Last week, High Mowing School welcomed students back to our high school campus for the start of a new academic year. The hilltop once again carries the energy of returning friendships, renewed purpose, and the shared anticipation of what lies ahead.

As our students step into this year, they do so as young adults ready to deepen their thinking, sharpen their craft, and take on greater responsibility, both in the classroom and in our community. We look forward to the growth, discovery, and achievement this year will bring.

Join our middle school soccer clinic on September 23 from 4-6 p.m.
Competitive soccer players in 7th & 8th grades are invited to join the High Mowing School | Black Rock FC coaches for a free clinic to meet our coaches and explore what it’s like to train at an elite level.
This clinic allows middle school students the opportunity to meet our coaches, train with the HMS | Black Rock FC team, and explore what it would be like to train and attend school at High Mowing School. Attendees will also have the chance to meet with our Enrollment Director to learn more about joining our high school and the BRFC team.
Any player in 7th or 8th grade who wants to play soccer at an elite level in high school is invited to attend. Spots are filling fast, click the link below to learn more and sign up!

Today, High Mowing School welcomes our circus and soccer athletes back to campus for pre-season training. These student athletes will train hard and settle into their dorms over the next few days.
