Wilton Music Studios boasts a team of professional musicians who are also highly experienced and dedicated teachers. Located in the heart of Fairfield County, we serve Wilton, Norwalk, Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Redding, Stamford, Weston, Westport, and the surrounding area, offering private music instruction on Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Clarinet, and Harp. We teach students of all levels, all ages, from beginners through professionals and young children through adults. Wilton Music Studios is a vibrant musical community and we look forward to meeting you and sharing our love of music. We are conveniently located on Route 7, on the border of Norwalk and Wilton – near the Merritt Parkway and I-95.

🎶 Fun Fact: Suite Modale, the piece that is performed on the next post was composed for flutist Elaine Shaffer. John Wummer, then principal flutist of the New York Philharmonic premiered it in 1957, and Shaffer gave the European premiere that same year in London. Bloch later arranged Suite Modale for flute and orchestra, and flutist Frances Blaisdell gave that version's world premiere in 1958 at Town Hall in New York City.
