Here is the link to our playlist for the several "galleries" of our annual Wilsonville High School Art Show. We aimed to show works by all of the students who enrolled in fine art studio courses this year.

The pandemic prevented us from accessing many excellent works that went un-photographed and should be in these galleries. Maybe we'll get to display those in our school next year...

We are proud of our students and miss them so much!

By this time in a 'normal' school year, students would have had the opportunity to show off their incredible artwork in several physical shows. For obvious reasons this year, that did not happen, so we've put together a virtual art show of the amazing photographs created by students in Photo 1. They were undaunted by the interruption in their semester, and continued to explore photography at home, producing great results. Well done, Photo 1 Students!!!!!

During the spring, we usually have had several opportunities for photography students to show off their amazing artwork. For obvious reasons this year, that did not happen, so we put together a virtual art show video. Our students were undaunted by having to continue learning photography at home and produced some fine photographs as a result.

UPDATED: Challenge Donation! A supporter will match $1,000 in new donations made by December 31, 2019.

THESE DONATIONS benefit the fine art programs at Wilsonville High School & Canby High School!

Charbonneau Arts Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports public art education programs in our local area. Since school budgets for these programs have diminished in recent years, our support is more beneficial than ever.

Proceeds from our 2018 Arts Festival allowed us to donate $4,000 each to the art programs at Wilsonville and Canby High Schools. Our contributions go directly to the teachers and in past years have been used to:

Buy needed equipment
Take field trips to art shows and museums
Pay entry fees for regional art competitions
Support visiting artists with unique skills to complement existing classes
Buy materials for public projects
The Charbonneau Arts Association is a completely volunteer organization. Except for administrative and event costs, all donations and festival proceeds go directly to support public art education.

Even though results from our 2019 Festival are not completed, let’s maximize this year’s contribution with tax deductible donations. Your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a $1,000 total of all donations made by December 31, 2019.

Support art education with your end-of-the-year donation!

This is a real opportunity to support Charbonneau Arts & support to Canby & Wilsonville High School Art programs. Up to $1000 in donations will be matched if made by year-end.

Wilsonville High School students have had an incredible opportunity for many, many years to travel to the Pearl District to experience art firsthand at the First Thursday event every month. Last night 25 students and 5 adults visited eight galleries in the Pearl District to take in the many and varied art openings. What a great experience it is for the students (and adults, too).
