🎶 Labor Day Closure Reminder

Concert School of Music will be closed Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. There will be no lessons, and our front desk will be closed for the day.

Regular lessons and business hours will resume Tuesday, September 8th.

🎻 Join CSM’s Youth String Orchestra this Fall! 🎶

Our Youth String Orchestra is for violin, viola, cello, and double bass students ages 8–12 who are ready to grow their ensemble skills in a supportive group setting.

Students will learn to follow a conductor, play independent parts, strengthen note reading, and make music together.

Fall Term: Sept. 24–Dec. 10
Thursdays at 5:30 PM

Recommended for students with 1+ year of experience. Students with less experience may join with instructor recommendation. Instrument rentals are available through Quartet Violin Shop.

Meet Ben! He is one of our amazing saxophone students here at the school. He is currently working on the song "Wings of Wonder" by Tyler Grant. Ben's favorite part of his lessons is being able to work and make progress on the parts of his music he struggles with.

Meet Kellan! He is one of our fantastic drum students here at the school. He is currently working on the song "Come as You Are" By Nirvana. Kellan's favorite part of his lessons is learning and playing music!

We are honored to welcome The Classical Northwest to Concert School of Music as they rehearse and prepare for their 2026 festival!

This exciting festival brings emerging musicians and professional artists together for a week of orchestral performances, chamber music, and masterclasses. We are especially proud to have many CSM faculty members and students participating throughout the festival!

The Classical Northwest Festival takes place August 2–8, with several masterclasses hosted right here at Concert School of Music. We encourage our CSM community to explore the upcoming events, support these incredible musicians, and experience some wonderful live music!

There will be no lessons during this week, and all lessons will resume on Monday, July 6.
