Please join our staff at Edwards Funeral Home as we offer our sincerest condolences to the family of Mr. Charles Oscar Banks, Jr. (81) of Winterville, NC, formerly of Wilson, NC. Mr. Banks passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at his home. His funeral will take place at 1 pm on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (805 Nash St. SE, Wilson NC 27893). Reverend H. Maurice Barnes will be the eulogist. The family will assemble at 12:45 pm at the funeral home for the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery at 1717 Bishop LN Forbes Lane, Wilson NC.

A public viewing will be held Monday, July 27th from 12 -1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lucas died on Monday, May 18, 2026 at ECU Health Medical Center, Greenville, NC. A memorial service will take place at 1 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Kingdom Believers International (KBI), 206 West Wilson Street, Elm City NC 27822. Pastor Mark Johnson will be the eulogist. The family will assemble at 12:45 pm at the the church for the service. Burial arrangements are private.
