The Pender Street Community Center offers area youth an alternative afterschool spot where they can come and get homework done, meet with friends and hang out in an environment that's almost like home! After introducing area youth to the Music, Art and Culture program during the summercamp, we're bringin
g it back for Afterschool H.E.L.P.!!! (M-Th 3pm-6pm, Fri. 3-5pm) to Join the MAC
*Homework assist 3-4pm, then MAC Club activities (focus first)
-Music and Media (weekly creative study and entrepreneurship class)
-Gametable and cardgame tournaments, football, basketball fun
-Arts & Crafts w/ Ms. Debra
-Freestye Friday's (videogame, movie or outside sports/ u pick)
-Family Focus workshops and gatherings
-Monthly "Know Thyself" (speakers and community events)
