At our summer camp, every child and young adult is seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are 💙

Our program is thoughtfully designed for individuals who are differently abled, with a strong focus on each camper’s individualized needs. Whether that includes support with toileting, feeding, mobility, or communication, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

Ms. Meredith, our operator and camp counselor, brings extensive hands-on experience working with students of diverse abilities—including those who use wheelchairs or walkers, those who do not yet use verbal language, those who attend school with the support of nurses, and students with behavioral disorders. She understands that every child is unique and is passionate about meeting them where they are.

Ms. Meredith would love to consult with caregivers to ensure our camp is the right fit for each camper’s specific needs. She recognizes that summer learning loss—both functional and academic—is real, and is committed to creating meaningful experiences that help campers maintain and build upon their skills.

Our goal is simple: create a space where every camper feels valued, capable, and included—while having an unforgettable summer experience ☀️

For years, Meredith watched her late grandmother, Ms. Mary Artis work tirelessly to help enhance children’s education. She witnessed her planning trainings for early childhood educators, plan community events for families, and so much more. Meredith knew she wanted to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps, but she walked in fear of failure. Upon the passing of her grandmother in 2016, Meredith made a vow to make her proud. With her grandmother watching from above, she KNEW she had to keep this vow. It took two years to start planning and even after that, the plans sat in her archives of forgotten ideas for a very long time. After much thought and frequently going back to her plans and adding more and more ideas, Meredith took a leap of faith! In 2020, she started reaching out to friends and family members about her ideas and she was floored by their responses! She pulled those plans out DAILY and worked on each idea one by one. She made learning activities for children of people in her community and they were a huge success. This was the ammunition she needed to put her dreams into reality. Mary’s Love, that was it, that was the name, it had to be. After all, these ideas came from the LOVE her grandmother had for children. Today, Meredith wants to continue to showcase her love for early childhood education, individuals with disabilities, and the everyday learner who just needs that extra push. That’s it, that’s the story, WELCOME to the journey.
