For those who want a head start on planning for the Homecoming 2026 dress up days, here is the plan for Homecoming Week.

The Wilson ISD Cheer Team is excited to announce another year of Homecoming festivities! On Monday September 7, 2026, there will be Junior High volleyball games at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm in the new gym. At 7:30 pm, we will kick off our annual parade starting at the old bank building and looping through town to end at the school.

Immediately after the parade, we will meet behind the ag barn to enjoy a community bonfire. The Junior Class will provide concessions during this time as well.

All are welcome and invited to participate in the parade. Alumni, community members, supporters, and Wilson ISD fans are encouraged to participate. Join us with your dog, tractor, bicycle, or vintage car and a bag of candy, and let's celebrate another year for the Wilson Mustangs.

Today Anita Ortega is retiring after 30 years of service to Wilson ISD. We are so thankful for her commitment to this district and wish her all the best in her retirement!

Fun Fact: Wilson ISD has therapy dogs! These special friends help with lowering anxiety, improving mood, motivation, and managing stress. This is Ranger, and he is a welcomed sight to our students and staff.
