Chromebooks roll out next week! Be sure to completed the AUP in the Infinite Campus updates and take care of your student's tech fee so they can get their chromebook on time!
📣 **Chromebook & BYOD Information for the 2026–27 School Year!** 💻
Parents & Guardians: It’s time to get your student ready for technology use this school year! **ALL students—whether using a school-issued Chromebook or bringing their own device (BYOD)—must complete the required steps before they can use a device or access the internet.**
# # # ✅ Step 1: Complete the AUP
The **Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)** must be completed for every student.
You can find the AUP inside the **Parent Infinite Campus Portal**:
1️⃣ Click the **☰ three lines** in the top-left corner
2️⃣ Select **More**
3️⃣ Select **Yearly Update**
4️⃣ Click **Start** under **Existing Student Registration**
* If you are setting up your portal for the first time, select **Start** under **New Student Registration**
# # # 💰 Step 2: Pay the $30 Annual Technology Usage Fee
The **$30 annual technology usage fee applies to all students**, including students who bring their own devices (BYOD).
This fee helps fund the essential infrastructure, security, and digital platforms that **all students use every day**.
Students who qualify for direct services from **SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF**, or who have an approved **Wilson County Schools fee waiver**, are exempt from the annual technology usage fee. Students remain responsible for any damage fines resulting from negligence.

** There will be no refunds once payment has been made.**
📌 **The AUP AND technology fee must BOTH be completed before a student can use a device or access the internet.**
💻 **Paying the technology fee online?** Please have your student bring a copy of the payment receipt with them on their scheduled Chromebook checkout day.

Students who plan to bring their own device must complete the BYOD form.

**Seniors:** Tuesday, August 25
**Juniors:** Wednesday, August 26
**Sophomores:** Thursday, August 27
**Freshmen:** Friday, August 28
⚠️ **Important:** Students who were approved to keep their Chromebooks over the summer are **still required to complete BOTH the AUP and technology fee requirements by their assigned day.** If these requirements are not completed, the student's device will be collected.
