Connection is vital. Without healthy relationships, we revert to old habits, only harming ourselves. It's perfectly fine to outgrow old connections and make new ones. Wish them well and move forward, just like a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly.

🌿 August is National Wellness Month! 🌿

Wellness is more than physical health. It includes every part of our lives. For survivors of crime, caring for overall wellness can be an important part of healing, rebuilding, and feeling in control again.

Throughout the month, we will highlight two of the eight dimensions of wellness each week:

💜 Week 1: Physical & Emotional Wellness
🤝 Week 2: Social & Intellectual Wellness
🪶 Week 3: Spiritual & Environmental Wellness
💼 Week 4: Financial & Occupational Wellness

Each dimension is connected, and there is no single “right” way to heal. Small steps still matter, support is available, and survivors do not have to walk their healing journey alone. Healing is NOT linear. It's all on your comfort level, and sometimes we have to take a few steps back to launch forward.

Follow along this month as we share information, encouragement, and simple ways survivors can care for their whole selves. 💜
