Last week was a tough one. We had to say goodbye to our Miss Kalli. There were SO many tears, high emotions, hugs, smiles, laughs, and memories made.

We knew it wasn’t going to be easy so we soaked in all the time we had. It wasn’t goodbye, but see you later. 🥹

We are SO excited to hear all about the life of Mrs. Friesz when she comes to visit…often. 😉

We saved the best for last - today we took in Brookings!

Strikes and smiles all around - today we tried out bowling (many first timers in our group!!) and even though Robert out-bowled us all, we had SO MUCH FUN 🎳

The best part was listening to them cheer each other on. Whether we hit one pin or got a strike, everyone was cheering and clapping!

No trip to Brookings is complete without a stop at the SDSU Dairy Bar where we watch as ice cream is made and grab a scoop for a treat! 🍦

Today’s bowling was sponsored by a private donation - allowing us to treat the kids to a surprise bowling and pizza party!

Truly, the best way to celebrate our summer

It was a bit chilly but there was no shortage of fun!! We ended the trip with a favorite stop, The Purple Cow!

A great day in Milbank 🤩

We always love to visit our friends at Valley Queen 🧀 we explored the history, tried out different types of cheese AND learned that VQ partners with the M&M brand?!

We stopped at Triple Dip Lodge for a sweet treat! (Thank you to the staff who handled our big crew so well!!)

We made up some tunes at the music park!

And we ended the day with the splash pad!!

We always love to see readers on the bus, today we even spotted flash card drills!! And the field trip is never complete...
