A ten day residential summer program at Asbury University designed for high school students

06/18/2026

DAY 10! the last day of YBL :( today was filled with emotional goodbyes. Students met with their mentors, presented their projects, and finally became YBL alumni. The past 10 days have been filled with connection, laughter, hard conversations, service, and worship. continue to pray for the students here that are going back home to minister to others!

06/17/2026

DAY 9 of YBL! Today we took group photos, played an outside water game, researched more for our projects, celebrated becoming YBL alumni, and finished up the night with testimonies and worship!

YBL DAY 8! Students are sitting in sessions, playing fun group games, and hearing a wonderful message from Aqueelah! We started research for ministry projects and enjoyed amazing worship!

06/15/2026

DAY 7 of YBL!! After visiting local churches we joined AdventureServe Ministries at the high ropes course! We heard more testimonies, a message from Aqueelah about being young and able to make changes, and ended the night in worship!

DAY 6 of YBL!! today students got to spend one on one time with God at different interactive prayer stations, then we headed outside and played a fun game! Students ended the day by hearing from people who work in different ministry occupations!

YBL DAY 5! The students practiced spiritual disciplines while taking a sabbath day! We got to hear testimonies from more students and ended in worship!

06/12/2026

DAY 4 of YBL! After insightful conversations about theology we packed up and headed to Cathedral Domain ! Students made s’mores and connected on deeper levels. We finished the night with worship by the fire and heard testimonies from students!

Today marks DAY 3 of YBL! We got to play some fun games outside, took a silly photo, and head to service project! Students got the wonderful opportunity to serve with Jane Lewis , writing encouragement notes, packing meals, and praying over their ministry! We also got to hear more testimonies from fellows. Worship tonight was filled with supporting and loving one another through Christ!

DAY 2 of YBL!! Students were introduced to their service projects. They learned how to share their testimony, got to hear testimonies from some of their counselors, and Leadership Fellows! Students are building supportive community through Christ while ending the night with beautiful worship and a message from Ebonie Davis about being obedient to Gods call!
