The final weeks of summer break are officially here! 🏖️ While it's tempting to either go into full-prep panic mode OR completely ignore the upcoming school year, here is our favorite tip for striking the perfect balance:
The "Batch & Batch Off" Method! 🗓️✨
Instead of letting school prep trickle into every single day of your last weeks, divide your days intentionally into two categories:
1️⃣ "Batch-ON" Hours (1–2 Days Max): Set aside one or two hyper-focused blocks to knock out the high-stress logistics—like setting up your digital classroom, printing syllabus packets, or batch-planning Week 1 lessons. Once the timer ends, you stop! 🛑
2️⃣ "Batch-OFF" Days (The Rest of the Week): Complete, guilt-free disconnect. Put away the lesson planner, close the school emails, and go fill your cup with things that refresh you! 💦📖☕
Why it works:
Getting the big "first week" tasks off your plate early removes background anxiety, letting you actually relax during your final days off—without that lingering "I should be working" guilt!
