Due to the threat of inclement weather, GLOW Academy will be closed on Monday, March 16.

GLOW Academy will operate on our regular schedule tomorrow. Buses will pick up at regular times, and our tardy bell will ring at 8:15 AM. We can't wait to see you at school!

We hope you are enjoying your Snow Day! After continuing to monitor road conditions and forecasted temperatures, we want to share our plan for the next two days.

GLOW will transition to a Remote Learning Day on Tuesday, February 3. With temperatures expected to rise Tuesday into Wednesday, we are hopeful that we will be able to return to our regular, in-person schedule on Wednesday, February 4.

If students have any questions about their Remote Learning assignments, they should reach out directly to their teacher(s) via email.

Snow in Wilmington is so rare, and we hope you are soaking it all in! We are excited to announce a Snow Day for GLOW students and staff on Monday, February 2!

There will be no school and no remote learning on Monday. Additional schedule adjustments beyond Monday will result in our transition to Remote Learning Days. We will communicate with you when those decisions have been made.

In the meantime stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy the snow!

Earlier this month, the NC Charter School Review Board granted GLOW Academy a 10-year charter renewal—the longest renewal period a charter school can receive. This milestone affirms our strong academic performance, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.

Even more special, this comes as we celebrate 10 years of empowering girls through rigorous academics, leadership development, and a whole-girl approach to education..

Senior Isabella has matched with Washington University in St. Louis, a school that consistently ranks among the top 50 universities in the United States. Each Match Scholarship Recipient receives early admission and a FULL FOUR-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP to a QuestBridge college partner.
