Thank you Kristie Dy-Nee Robinson-Ford, for having me as a facilitator for the "I Choose Me Health and wellness VIP Experience". I am so proud of the attendees who "chose" to show up and prioritize learning how to empower themselves, nurture and protect their physical and mental health.

This was a perfect way to close out Mental Health Awareness Month 💛.

Thank you Going Beyond the Pink for having me as the facilitator for the October Wellness Workshop, "Building Resilience After Cancer". The workshop was on building resilience, but the strength these women already have and the support they give to each other is exceptional.

Kara Kenan and Maggie Coyle Fisher, my heart was full after the workshop. Thank you both for providing such a safe and supportive space and the work you do for breast cancer patients and survivors. I am proud I am able to support this mission 💛.

Going Beyond the Pink is an amazing organization that does so much for the breast cancer community. Their mission is to empower breast cancer patients and survivors with knowledge and support so they can thrive through treatment into survivorship. I am proud to be able to support this mission 💛.

A very special thank you to Murrayville Elementary for having me as the guest speaker for this year's Girls 5th Grade Tea Party. We chatted about keeping the mind and body healthy. What a great group!

During my message, I encouraged them to be resilient and not give up when things get tough. Positive thoughts help to keep a healthy mind.

There will be challenges and setbacks. You might even hear the word "No," but that does not change the fact that:
➡️ You are awesome
➡️ You can do anything
➡️ Believe in yourself
➡️ Never give up

Thank you Wilmington, NC Chapter of The Links Incorporated, for the opportunity to participate in the Black Family Wellness Event Expo.

The Black Family Wellness Expo contributes to The Links National Wellness Expo's effort to raise awareness about conditions that shorten or impact the quality of life for Black people. The Expo addressed caregiver resources, vaccination uptake, healthy responses to stress, harm reduction, STI prevention and more.

I will continue to do my part to contribute to these efforts.

During times of uncertainty and stress, it's important to remember to continue to show up for others and to show up for yourself.

This past week, I had the opportunity to support the ribbon cutting ceremony for Trailborn Surf & Sound in Wrightsville Beach, NC. Trailborn hotels offer a new way to experience the outdoors, and the views are amazing! Thank you, , for the invite.

I was also able to complete training to become a Breast Health Peer Educator. I will continue to do my part to decrease health disparities and increase health literacy and equality for all.💛
