Hi community,

I am feeling lost. What am I not providing? What am I not showing? Why are we not communicating? Why are we not sharing? I am putting all my eggs in one basket. I am showing you all my cards. We are 29 days into this event, and there are 9 days left to meet our goal. In 21 days, families will know if they will have a Thanksgiving meal this year.

Are we so comfortable that we believe we can’t help others? Are we turning away from the needs of others and so focused on ourselves that we think our neighbors are doing fine? I hear their needs through calls, and I listen to their stories; they need our help.

Everyone can do their part—just a little bit from each of us will help us reach our goal. Thinking that you have to give a lot of items or donate a large amount of money fails you and us because it puts a strain on us financially. So please reach out to your friends, family, and coworkers. Create teams and do just a small part; in the end, we will finish together abundantly.

With your donation, we can:

* Assemble Thanksgiving meal boxes with all the trimmings for families in need with or without a full kitchen.

* Provide grocery gift cards for individuals struggling to afford basic necessities.

* Offer To Go Box along with the meal box for students on fall break missing breakfast and lunch for a week.

Every dollar or item donate counts, and your generous gift will directly impact the lives of those in our community.

6th Annual Prom Pilot
WILL YOU HELP ME WITH
PROM 2024?

for eligible Banning high School Seniors who made the criteria to go but need a help up due to family financial hardships.

Donations can be as little as .25 cents cause it makes cents (sense) to the following platforms.

There is always going to be someone in need. It’s tough to ask for help. They are set in their ways to want to do things on their own and be independent-minded.

Asking for help often feels uneasy, embarrassing because it requires surrendering control to someone else.

Since we started 2016 thanks to the Wilmington Community and others who have donated, we have not failed a student, individual, or family who was in need.

We have a way to go will you help.

Various donations platforms available including using Apple Pay, Debit, Credit Card or Bank transfer.

CARE to SHARE Thank you. Links in bio.

We have not received any donations since 3/18/2024 We need your help why?

A Needy Wilmington, non government |non profit 82-3551385 thanks you in advance for your kindness and dedication to us and the Wilmington Community. Your support whether word of mouth, social media, monetary, tangible donation or donating services or time to our grass-roots crusade is essential to address those living below the poverty line. A need for simple, essential, everyday items food, clothing, toiletries required school uniforms, cheer uniform for a student’s extracurricular activity, or sending them to a cooking or wrestling competition. Tickets, formal wear, and accessories so they can attend prom. Senior dues, cap and gowns and sashes so they may participate and attend their graduation for a lifetime of memories. Buying a recent graduate, a laptop, printer so they may continue their studies attending their first year at junior college. Family’s groceries for the month, assisting with utilities to avoid shut off, special need items and much more.

You might wonder why if someone is in need why buy a cheer uniform or send them to prom isn’t that living outside of their means?

Helping others improves the giver and the person in need their self-esteem and sense of purpose. People who volunteer their time, donate to a cause they care about, or aid someone in need of assistance, have higher self-esteem and overall wellbeing. How can you help others and improve your self-esteem?

Be part of A Needy Wilmington’s crusade. A creative, out of the box, put into action, always is searching and nurturing collaborators to bring awareness that there are many in our community need a hand up not a handout.
