šŸˆšŸ¦… With just one week until the Philadelphia Eagles kick off their season, weā€™re celebrating a special connection between the Eagles and Saint Markā€™s Girls Flag Football!

As part of the Eaglesā€™ continued commitment to growing girls flag football and creating more opportunities for female athletes, Saint Markā€™s Head Coach Will Reid and team captains Dana Shanklin and Bella Spohn had the opportunity to attend Eagles Training Camp and experience firsthand the organizationā€™s support for the growing sport.

Coach Reid has been a tremendous advocate for girls flag football and was recently recognized by the Eagles as their Girls Flag Football Coach of the Week. Under his leadership, the Spartans captured Delawareā€™s inaugural Girls Flag Football Championship and helped pave the way for the continued growth of the game throughout our state.

We are proud to see Coach Reid, Dana, and Bella representing Saint Markā€™s while helping highlight the bright future of the sport.

šŸŽ„ Learning never stops, even for our teachers!

This summer, Mr. Hughes traveled to Hillcrest High School in Springfield, Missouri, for the Academy of Scholastic Broadcasting Summer Workshop. The weeklong program brought together 18 teachers from across the country to collaborate, share ideas, and explore new approaches to teaching broadcast journalism.

Weā€™re grateful for the time Mr. Hughes dedicated to continued learning this summer and his commitment to creating the best possible learning experiences for our students at Saint Markā€™s! šŸ’ššŸ’›

What a wonderful first full week together at Saint Markā€™s!

Our freshmen and transfer students have quickly learned their way around campus and even mastered their lockers, while our returning Spartans have settled back into their routines. It has been a smooth and spirited start to the new school year, made even more special by welcoming so many of our families at Back-to-School Night.

Registration opens at 11 AM, with a sh***un start at noon. Every player registration includes golf, cart, drinks, games, prizes, dinner and a golfer gift.
