Well that summer went fast! To all the new 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and their parents/guardians.
A little about myself. This will be year 20 teaching PE all of which have been here in Wilmington. I bleed purple and love being a part of this community. I am a huge Bears fan! I have lived in Wilmington most of my life and grew up here. After graduating Wilmington High School, I earned by teaching degree from Northern Illinois University. I have 2 smart and wonderful children and a beautiful, supportive wife. I look forward to getting back with the students next Wednesday and seeing everyone at meet the teacher night next Monday! Enjoy the last week of summer break!

Year 19 is in the books! I’ll miss this 5th grade now 6th grade class. They will all do great in middle school! I look forward to next years 4th and 5th grade classes as well as the two 3rd grade classes I have next year! Enjoy your summer, stay safe and see you all in August!

Starting this week, we will learn a whole bunch of outdoor activities for students to use during the summer. Each class only has about 10 PE classes left this school year. Let’s make everyone of them great!
