Pi Sigma Epsilon - Delta Tau at UNCW

Hello all!

Pi Sigma Epsilon - Delta Tau along with 4 other on-campus organizations are putting on a fundraiser called Cookin' For Kiddos. The events purpose is to benefit Winterpark Elementary and will be tomorrow (11/18) from 1-4pm at Hugh Macrae Park shelter 6.

During Hurricane Florence the school was devastated by a mass amount of flooding on their bottom floor. Almost all supplies and furniture was unfortunately thrown away due to water damage and will not be replaced. This fundraiser is to help support them in their rebuilding efforts as we all know how important a well put together classroom is.

While I know a lot of you will not be able to attend the event itself, we would still be very appreciative of any donations you could provide. The link to donate, buy tickets, or even tshirts for the event are below.

We were fortunate enough to have all overhead costs covered by local organizations such as Slice of Life and Nutanix allowing for 100% of the money raised to go directly back to the school.

Here our Delta Tau member Zoe Sorlien has been working hard with the Newport Gulls in Rhode Island! Her passion for baseball has made her an excellent assistant general manager to the collegiate baseball team

When asked about her favorite part of her job this summer...
"My favorite part was the relationships I build with the staff and players. We became a family comprised of people from every part of the country and it was incredible getting to know everyone while doing what we love (baseball)."

All the hard work that the Pi Sigma Epsilon- Delta Tau members sure paid off this weekend!! From long nights preparing for competitions to relaxing and watching a cardinals game, we're ready to have our friends back in Wilmington from St. Louis!!! Great work everyone!"

Inspiring and insightful lecture with Johnson & Johnson's former Vice Chair on Board of Directors, once Dean at Ohio State's Business School and current executive in residence and professor at Ohio State! A few PSE members had the opportunity to meet Christine P**n at a pre-lecture gathering and once again at the VIP reception following the talk! Great networking opportunity!!
