Hoggard High School Band Boosters

Today, the Hoggard Band Boosters treated our hardworking Marching Vikings to a pizza lunch and Kona Ice as a thank-you for all of their dedication and effort throughout Band Camp. Our students have spent the last two weeks learning music, mastering marching fundamentals, building friendships, and preparing for an exciting season ahead.

Band Camp may be over, but the memories will last all season!

To celebrate the final day of camp, our incredible student section leaders surprised every member of their section with personalized paper plate awards. From creative award titles to plenty of laughs, it was the perfect way to recognize everyone's hard work while spending some fun time together as a band.

A huge thank you to our student leadership for going above and beyond to build the positive, supportive culture that makes the Marching Vikings so special. We can't wait to see all of that hard work shine on the field this season!

Wow! Can you believe this group of students—including our newest freshmen—has only been playing together for just over a week? Their growth has been incredible, and it's clear that all of their hard work during Band Camp is paying off!

In just a few short weeks, we'll get to cheer on our Marching Vikings as they perform during Hoggard's first home football game on August 28th. We can't wait to share this season with you. It's going to be an amazing year!

Behind the scenes at band camp!

Our Marching Vikings have been putting in the work this week. Despite the heat and the rain showers, they've been out on the field building their marching fundamentals and learning the techniques that will set them up for a successful season.

When they're not outside, they're hard at work in sectionals, where guest instructors are helping each section refine their skills and prepare for this year's music. Every rehearsal is another step toward bringing this season's show to life, and it's exciting to watch the progress being made each day.

There's still plenty of work ahead, but the dedication and effort these students are showing now will pay off when they take the field this fall. Go Vikings!

Just a friendly reminder that we will be kicking off our 2026 marching band season tonight! Please bring cash or check to pay for your student's uniform fees. We're especially excited to meet all of our new band families, and we will be going over lots of information and answering questions during the meeting.

Summer may still be in full swing, but another exciting season for the Hoggard Marching Vikings is just around the corner! Our kick-off meeting is July 30th, and we ask that all band parents attend. We are looking forward to catching up with our returning families as well as welcoming new students and families to our program. Let's make this the best year yet!

We officially kicked off the 2026–2027 Marching Viking season! We’re excited to get the newest edition of the Marching Vikings underway and can already tell this group is going to do great things.

The energy and enthusiasm at our first rehearsal has us counting down the days until band camp. We can’t wait to see what this season has in store! ⚔️🎶

Happy Birthday, America! 🇺🇸 Today, the Hoggard Band honored the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding with a concert featuring a variety of pieces by American composers. We were proud to showcase performances by our talented Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Symphonic Bands. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special milestone through music!
