We always joke about how amazing it would be to have iced coffee for sale in the car line… and now we’re making it happen (sort of)! 😆

To celebrate the LAST MONDAY of school, the awesome Dark Horse Coffee Co. LLC will be at Lombardy from 8: 30 AM– 9:45AM with drinks available for purchase! 🎊

This isn’t a fundraiser—just a fun way to bring a little extra joy (and caffeine!) to our incredible school community. Because honestly, who doesn’t need a coffee to celebrate the end of Maycember and another fantastic school year? 🙌

🚗 Please note: We can’t bring coffee into the car line, but Dark Horse will be set up in the side lot. Feel free to park, stop by, and treat yourself! And if coffee isn’t your thing, don’t worry—they offer more than just coffee. 😊

PTA was proud to sponsor a portion of the 2nd grade field trip to Hagley Museum ✨ so we could help make the experience more affordable for all families. Our students had the best time stepping back into life long ago — from making lemonade 🍋, to exploring old household tools 🧺, to playing with historic toys 🧸, to trying out a school lesson ✏️, to doing the laundry the old‑fashioned way 🪣.

Their curiosity, teamwork, and joy made the whole day unforgettable ❤️

Lombardy PTA had the honor of supporting another beloved grade-level tradition for our 5th graders this week! 🍦🎉

Each year, our 5th grade students celebrate the end of the school year with an outdoor ice cream party hosted by Dino's Ice Cream & Italian Water Ice Truck. We are so grateful to help make this special event possible and give our students a fun way to celebrate all they’ve accomplished.

Congratulations to our 5th graders, and best wishes as they move on to their next adventure! 💙💛

Cosmic Foam Party

Last Friday, despite the rain 🌧️, the Lombardy Choir proudly sang God Bless America 🇺🇸 and enjoyed an amazing Community Night with the Blue Rocks ⚾💙! Even with the weather, it was a fantastic evening filled with great energy and fireworks 😊🙌 Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable night! 🎉👏

PTA grants help bring special experiences to every grade — and for Kindergarten, that means… chicks! 🐥💙💛 Watching them hatch is pure magic for the kids, and we’re so happy to help make it happen. 🐣

Summer is such a wonderful (and much needed ☀️) break for our kiddos! But if you’re looking for an easy way to keep a little routine going and help them stay on track, these Summer Skills Review Books are a great option. They’re quick, simple, and give a fun refresher on everything learned throughout the school year. 📚✏️

Another easy summer habit? Try reading for 30 minutes a day! The kids section at the Brandywine Hundred Library is awesome and makes reading super fun!

A little learning mixed in with all the summer fun goes a long way 💙💛

Still looking for summer camp options for your child? ☀️

One of our valued community partners is hosting a Summer Camp Open House on Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM at camp!

Families will have the opportunity to:
🌳 Tour the beautiful 350+ acre campgrounds
👋 Meet the camp directors and staff
🎮 Enjoy games and refreshments
🎁 Receive gifts for all children who attend

There will also be special prizes and gifts for campers who enroll during the Open House event!

This is a great opportunity for families to learn more about local summer programming and all the fun camp has to offer.
