The Yudah School of Music would like to wish everyone a Happy Passover and a Happy New Year to all who celebrate!

The spring is the most beautiful time, where God makes everything in nature new!

Gloria in excelsis Deo! (Glory to God in the highest!)

What an enriching experience for our students! There were so many breath taking moments in our presentation of Vivaldi’s Gloria. The presentation included student performers as young as 3rd graders.

We also had a couple of our 7th grade students join us who are also students at the Cab Calloway School of the arts. There were also a few 8th grade and high school students from Dover Middle School and the Cab Calloway School of the Arts who participated.

In addition to this, we had over 20 4th & 5th grade students join us from the William C. Lewis Dual Language School. They learned the entirety of Vivaldi’s Gloria in its original language, which is Latin.

We are super proud of all the hard work that went into making this presentation possible.

We are so grateful for such an amazing concert! Thank you to all involved!

This is The Yudah School of Music!

We were particularly delighted to be invited to participate in the Music School of Delaware’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. & Black History Month kick off celebration.

We were also treated to hear selections from the fabulous vocal ensemble, Trio Noire, led by our wonderful Vice President, the incomparable Ms. .

What a moment in history!

4th and 5th grade students at William C. Lewis Dual Language School did an incredible job rehearsing and performing this music!

It was truly an honor to have them join us in performing excerpts from Handel’s “Messiah”. We hope to collaborate again in the near future!

What an amazing night for The Yudah School of Music!

Last night we broke barriers and made history by joining with Lincoln University and William C. Lewis Dual Language School to perform excerpts from Handel’s “Messiah”!

This wasn’t your ordinary Messiah. For the first time in its near 300 year history it was performed in part by students from a Delaware title 1 elementary school that serves predominantly black and Latino students. They were accompanied by Lincoln University, a Historically Black College and University, as well as by a BIPOC baroque chamber orchestra.

The Messiah has NEVER been performed this way and we are super proud that we were able to present Handel’s Messiah this way to the world!

Outside of the ensemble, the guests soloists stunned the audience with their God given voice! What an incredible experience!!
