Serviam Girls Academy is the only tuition-free, faith based, private middle school for girls in 5th to 8th grade in Wilmington, DE. Serviam was founded in 2008 on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential regardless of her familyโ€™s circumstances. Our mission is to cultivate the potential of young women through a challenging, holistic education rooted in the Ursuline tradition.

Sr. Mildred holds a special place in Serviamโ€™s history. As Serviam developed its vision to become a school for girls, she was a wise advisor whose positivity, encouragement, and thoughtful counsel helped guide the school during its formative years. We continue to benefit from the knowledge and generous spirit she shared with Serviam.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Ursuline Sisters of the Eastern Province, Sr. Mildredโ€™s family and friends, and all who loved her. We are grateful for her life of faith and service and will keep her and the entire Ursuline community in our prayers.

May she rest in eternal peace.

With deep sorrow, we share that our beloved Sister, ๐’๐ซ. ๐Œ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐‡๐š๐ข๐ฉ๐ญ, ๐Ž๐’๐”, passed peacefully into eternal life this morning on ๐“๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ’, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, at her home at Andrus on Hudson.

A cherished member of the Ursuline Sisters of the Eastern Province, Sr. Mildred lived a life of faith, prayer, and generous service. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication to the Ursuline mission touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed by her Ursuline Sisters, family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Please keep Sr. Mildred and all who mourn her loss in your prayers during this time.
