✨ Kindergarten Open House & Popsicles on the Playground ✨

Date: Thursday, August 20th, 2026

Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Location: Bellamy Elementary Classrooms & Playground

Here's what to expect:

9:00-10:30 AM - Visit your child's classroom, meet the kindergarten teachers, and get resources for the school year.

9:30-11:00 AM - Enjoy popsicles and playtime on the playground with fellow families and staff!

10:30-11:00 AM - Teachers will join the playground fun to answer questions and spend more time with students and families.

Each student will receive a color-coded sticker to help them easily connect with classmates in their assigned class-a fun way to begin forming friendships from day one!

This event is a joyful way to ease the transition into kindergarten by giving students a chance to become familiar with their new school, while helping families build lasting connections within our Bellamy community.

Bellamy Elementary does not complete kindergarten assessments prior to the first day of school. We welcome all of our students, and get to know them on our staggered enrollment days, giving them time to become familiar with their teachers and comfortable sharing what they know.

If you have enrolled in kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year, but have not yet received your enrollment welcome packet, please give us a call at 910-350-2039. We look forward to welcoming all of our Future Soaring Eagles!

It’s hard to believe that Friday, June 5th, is our last day of school!

Friday is a HALF DAY, with dismissal beginning at 11:45. Please let us know if you have a change in dismissal plans that day!

🛼 This event is for 5th grade students ONLY! Parents welcome to drop off your student and pick up.
🛼 Pizza & Gatorade will be served!
🛼 Scooter’s has a snack bar that will be open. You must send in CASH ONLY with your student if they wish to purchase anything.

Our 3rd graders put their entrepreneurial skills to the test during Market Day! 💡💰

From developing business plans and designing products to creating storefronts and marketing their ideas, students experienced firsthand what it takes to run a successful business. After weeks of hard work, creativity, and problem-solving, they proudly opened their shops and sold their wares to eager customers.

We are so proud of our young entrepreneurs for their innovation, perseverance, and teamwork. The future is bright at Bellamy Elementary! 🦅✨
