Honors will be taking select students to tour the USS North Carolina Battleship on March 29th fron 12:30 to 3:30 pm. The showboat tour explores 9 levels of the ship from the Main to Secondary Plotting rooms to the Bridge. The tour includes the Engine Room, Turret II Barbette, Main Deck, 2nd and 3rd Decks, and the 1st Platform plus four levels above the Main Deck to the 04 level. This tour does require going up and down several flights of stairs and is not recommended for those with mobility issues. Follow the link in our bio to sign up!

March 20th at 6 PM, the Honors College will be hosting speaker Dr. Jon Grinspan, Curator of Political History at the Smithsonian's Museum of American History and author of three books, including Wide Awake: the Forgotten Force that Elected Lincoln and Spurred the Civil War. As a part of Dr. Grinspan's visit there will be a FREE lunch with select students, any interested Honors Students can sign up via the link in our bio!

MONDAY March 17th at 4pm in King 201, join Dr. Yishi Wang and Lynee Argabright for their thesis workshop "Data Analysis & the Statistical Collaboration and Training Center." This workshop provides an overview of the key components of statistical analysis. Students will also learn about the servuces offered by the Statistical Collarboation and Training Center (SCBTC). The session concludes with a Q&A to address any research questions related to statistics.
