The end of the 2025-26 school year is quickly approaching! To celebrate an amazing year of learning, growth, and success, we're inviting students and staff to participate in one final Spirit Week as we finish the year strong!

Check out the daily themes below and join us for a fun-filled week of school spirit. We can't wait to see everyone's creativity and Lewis pride on display!

⚾️ ⚽️ Monday, June 1 – Sports Day ⚾️ ⚽️
Wear your favorite sports team gear and show your resilience. Never give up!

🎸 Tuesday, June 2 – Rock Star Day 🎸
Dress like a rock star and remember that leaders use their voices in positive ways.

🦸 Wednesday, June 3 – Superhero Day 🦸
Dress as your favorite superhero and use your powers—your choices, words, and actions—to help others and do the right thing.

🐝 Thursday, June 4 – Bee Day 🐝
Dress as a bee! Just like bees play an important role in their hive, each of us plays an important role in our school community.

🌺Friday, June 5 – Luau Day 🌺
Dress like you're headed to a tropical island celebration! Show resilience by staying positive, flexible, and strong when challenges arise.

We look forward to seeing our students show their Lewis spirit all week long!

The Hive is beyond proud to celebrate Darla Jones on being named the Red Clay Schools 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year!!

This is an extraordinary accomplishment and one that cannot be overstated. With nearly 30 schools and more than 1,200 teachers across Red Clay, being selected as the district’s Teacher of the Year is nothing short of remarkable.

Those of us at Lewis have always known how special Mrs. Jones is and the impact she has on students, families, and staff each and every day. Her passion, dedication, and commitment to children shine through in everything she does.

This recognition is incredibly well deserved, and we cannot wait to cheer her on as she now represents Red Clay at the state level. There is no doubt that she will continue to make noise there as well!

What an incredible evening at our Kindergarten–2nd Grade Art Show & Concert! 🎶🎨

Our students did an amazing job showcasing their artistic talents and musical performances for our Lewis families and community. Thank you to our staff, families, and everyone who helped make tonight such a special event for our students.

Once a Bee, Always a Bee!!

Today is International Family Day!

To celebrate, we want to share pictures from the awesome night families had yesterday at the Hive! 🎨🐝

Families came together for our “Together We Paint” night, where everyone created a beautiful sunset painting featuring our Lewis bee theme. It was a great evening filled with creativity, laughter, and quality time together.

A special shoutout to Mr. Woodland for leading such a fun and memorable event for our students and families!

As we continue into week two of celebrating Red Clay’s 2026–27 School-Level Teachers of the Year, we’re proud to recognize the outstanding educators who inspire excellence across our schools each day.

These remarkable teachers create engaging learning environments, build lasting relationships with students, and make a meaningful impact both inside and outside of the classroom. Their dedication helps strengthen school communities throughout Red Clay.
