The Master of Science in Data Science & AI at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is now accepting Practicum Project Proposals for 2026!
We are seeking industry partners with real-world data challenges that can be addressed by graduate student teams using advanced skills in:
- Data Science
- Artificial Intelligence
- Analytics
- Machine Learning
- Data Visualization

This team-based practicum provides organizations with actionable insights and innovative solutions—while giving students meaningful, hands-on professional experience.

The MS in Data Science Program is now requesting Proposals for the 2025 Data Science Practicum. This is a team-based professional experience with organizations out side of the university. We are looking for real world industry problems that require skills from the fields of data science and analytics to provide solutions.
