For four decades, Sr. Betty has been a beloved member of our school community, touching countless lives through her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to Ursuline’s mission. She truly lives in the charisma of St. Angela Merici, leading with faith, service, kindness, and a deep love for every student she encounters.

To commemorate this special milestone, Sr. Betty selected a one-of-a-kind jacket in her favorite color, personalized with the UA logo and “Sr. Betty” embroidery.

Congratulations, Sr. Betty, and thank you for 40 incredible years of service, leadership, and devotion to Ursuline Wilmington. We are so grateful for the impact you have made on generations of students and families.

Congratulations to our 14 fifth-grade students who were celebrated at this week's Moving Up Ceremony!

They have officially completed their Lower School journey and are ready for the exciting adventures ahead as sixth graders. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and the growth they have shown throughout the year.

To our boys who are moving on to new schools, thank you for being such an important part of our community—you will be greatly missed, and we wish you every success in the years ahead.

Congratulations to our 8th Grade Class! We celebrate an exciting milestone as 100% of Ursuline Academy's 8th graders have committed to joining our Upper School this fall! Thank you for your years of service, leadership, and dedication to our students and school community. We are grateful for all that you do and the lasting impact you make each day.

During our Upper School Closing Ceremonies, 21 students were recognized with the Delaware Seal of Multiliteracy, a prestigious distinction awarded by the Delaware Department of Education to students who have demonstrated proficiency in a world language.

This achievement celebrates their ability to communicate effectively and confidently in real-world situations across languages and cultures. Recipients were also presented with a commemorative medallion in recognition of their accomplishment.🏅

We are proud to honor students studying Spanish and French across multiple grade levels. Congratulations to the 15 students pictured here, as well as 6 senior graduates, for earning this outstanding distinction!

As Ursuline's Class of 2026 embarks on the next chapter of their journeys, they do so with the grace, courage, and confidence that define Ursuline alumnae. The accomplishments of our 132nd graduating class are truly remarkable:

• Accepted to 101 colleges and universities and enrolling at 27 institutions across the country
• Earned more than $8.3 million in academic and athletic scholarships
• Averaged $204,633 in scholarship awards per graduate
• Completed 4,854 hours of community service, averaging 118 hours per student
• 46% of the class will pursue degrees in STEM-related fields
• 2 graduates will continue studying engineering after being inspired by Ursuline’s engineering program
• 4 graduates will compete in collegiate athletics
• 10 graduates will attend Catholic-affiliated universities
• 1 graduate earned an appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point
