One of our preschoolers most favorite time of day is transition from outside to lunch where Ms.Brie reads aloud some of their favorite stories!

hi friends!! a few weeks ago, the Vasquez family gifted the preschool class a butterfly growing kit- here’s how it’s gone so far!

🦋our new friends started off as teeny tiny caterpillars, and over about 3 days…. grew 10x the size they were at the start!

🦋they began to crawl all over their containers, eating and growing- until they decided it was time they spun their cocoons and took a nap for about a week!

🦋they decided that TODAY was butterfly day!!!! all 12 butterflies hatched and are flying around in their home, eating some sweet sugar water to help them grow some more. we will give them fresh sugar water every 3 days, and plan to release our friends into the environment a week from today!

we are so excited!!! thank you so much to the Vasquez family again for giving us this AWESOME experience! 💗🦋
