Also, our students are in need of ear buds/headphones for mandatory testing. Testing begins on September 26th and each student will need a pair of earbuds/headphones. If you are able to donate, please contact Ms. Carpenter ([email protected]) in the media center.

Have you joined PTSA yet? If so, thanks so much to everyone who has joined our PTSA! :)
This year our goal is 300 members. So far we have over 200 members. The homeroom with 100% participation in our membership drive by October 14th will win a pizza party from Incredible Pizza! Cost is $5.

Our MGMS BACK-TO-SCHOOL DANCE is THIS Friday,September 9th from 4 - 6 p.m!
Admission is $5 and wristbands will be sold in the school store beginning Thursday, September 8th. Pizza, drinks & snacks will be available for purchase. All items are $1.
PLEASE pick your students up immediately following the dance.
**PARENTS -- We need donations of full size candy items, bottled water and 12 pack canned drinks. Please label these "PTSA dance" and bring to the front office before Friday morning. **

Hey! Have any extra books that need new eyes to enjoy them?
Through the month of May our students will be collecting new and gently used children's books for children in grades K-5. In June these books will be distributed to students in low performing elementary schools in our community.
Please send in books for this drive to the media center...thank you!
