Thank you Edutopia! On the first day of school we watched Bobby Shaddox and his class talk about creating classroom norms. We adapted the process for our 3rd grade community. Students brainstormed norms and I combined them into big ideas. Everyone approved and our classroom norms were born! Our school secretary printed a poster sized version for us that are always visible. We review them each day as part of our morning routine. I couldn’t be prouder. We are so excited for great year! ⭐️

Blast off with Back to School! I created a set of community building resources to use during your first week with elementary students with a space theme.
