Latin you say? Et tu, Brute? Yes! Some of my students will take Latin in Middle school, so I’m making comparisons.
We emphasize speaking and pronouncing vital vocabulary commonly used in daily conversation. It's Spanish they'll speak!

Many people ask me about tutoring. While my schedule doesn’t currently allow for tutoring, I highly recommend Zoom with my colleague in Spain. Very experienced and makes learning Spanish fun! She tutors students through business professionals and comes highly recommended 🇪🇸 😊

On Friday, we did the best regalo (present) you could give at Upland Country Day School’s Lower School. This month’s theme was wellness. The activity was promoting emotional wellness and self esteem by placing positive adjectives that best describe a classmate, then place the piece of paper in their respective bag.
We bagged them up and students took them home. I suggested they don’t open them when they get home, but either put them in a place that they will forget about it and run into it later OR set it aside and open when they are having a bad day. We often forget our great qualities that make us who we are.
*Yes. There’s a typo. Did you find it? 🔎
