Stepping Stones Children's Center

Stepping Stones Children's Center Providing excellent childcare to children in our community. We have limited openings for Infant, Toddler and Pre-School Programs: 6 weeks -5 years.

We also offer a Before and After School Program for children attending Brandywine Springs. Our center is located inside St. Barnabas Church on Duncan Rd. Our program offers an enriched, full day pre-school in a safe and fun environment. We are open from 7 AM – 6 PM. We have strived to keep our rates competitive in these economic times. I just want to update everyone currently there is no power at the daycare and all the areas around us… there is also a tree down on Duncan road between the entrance of BSS & Us… we will keep everyone posted in the morning with more information! Hope everyone is safe after that horrible storm.

“There’s Gnome Place Like Stepping Stones!” Last weekend the “Gnome Fairy” came and visited the daycare and hid Gnomes all over the center… The joy it brought to all the children was PRICELESS… They were all so excited… And some made comments that the gnomes even knew water play started because of the way they were dressed… This reminded me that the magic of imagination at this age is huge!!!

June 5, 2026 was our annual preschool graduation… this year we tried something different and did the ceremony upstairs in St. Barnabas' Episcopal Church Delaware!!! It was perfect… the teachers and staff worked so hard to make everything magical for the kids and families (and they nailed it) the kids did AWESOME and all in all it was AMAZING…
