Honored and proud to have the endorsement of sisters and brothers from the International Longshore & Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 56, Ship Scalers & Painters. Based in San Pedro, these union members provide environmental and hazardous waste services at the Port of Los Angeles, as well as inland. Currently, ILWU Local 56 members are fighting to defend their jobs from encroaching nonunion companies, jurisdiction issues, and the constant threat of union busting. I stand in solidarity with Local 56 to ensure their families along with the many other District 15 residents have a seat at the decision-making table of L.A. City politics.

PLEASE WATCH: After filming his boss walk around an encampment 20 miles from his own district Senior Advisor and Comms Director, Branimir Kvartuc couldn’t leave without trying to intimidate SW members. It’s unfortunate we use city funds to pay for people like Branimir. You don't talk to residents like this!
