To our wonderful parents and families, thank you for everything you do to show up for your children every single day. Your encouragement at home makes ALL the difference. Give them an extra hug this week!

Remember, sweet Admirals, you are MORE than a test score. You are kind, creative, hardworking, and incredible human beings. Now go show those EOGs what you’re made of!

Attention parents,

This summer, the New Hanover County Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is offering an array of Summer Career Accelerator programs for rising 5th and 6th graders!!!

Registration fee: $50/week
Schedule: 9:00 am -12:00 pm

Get ready for the next big step!

Join us for A Night with the Middle School Principals TODAY 5:00–6:00 PM in the MPR!

Hear directly from Mrs. Bliss and Mrs. Leake as they share important information, helpful tips, and how to support your child as they transition to middle school. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, ease worries, and get excited about what’s ahead!

We look forward to seeing our future middle school families there!

Dear Families,

Very soon your child will take our state’s standardized tests (3rd, 4th, 5th grades)
Here are some suggestions you can do to help everyday:
⏰Ensure your child arrives at school on time.
🥣Have your child eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school.

NCPTA Strongly Supports Full Funding of Our Public Schools

As we continue to advocate for strong public schools, we want to clearly reaffirm one of our core priorities as the North Carolina PTA: we strongly support efforts to invest meaningful and sustained funding into our public schools. These investments are critical to ensuring that every child has access to a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment.

These priorities reflect what we hear consistently from our members, families, partners, and school communities across the state. This includes support for increased salaries for certified professionals, classified professionals, and other licensed professionals in our schools. When we invest in our schools, we invest in our children, our communities, and the future of North Carolina.

We encourage each of you to continue using your voice through advocacy, engagement, and partnership to support these priorities at the local and state levels. Together, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
