UNCW Precollege Mentoring Program

Mentors and mentees share a two-year partnership, working together to help the latter group achieve at the highest level and go to college.

The UNCW Precollege Mentoring Program is a college preparation and mentoring initiative for North Carolina high school students. The goal of this two-year program is to identify high-achieving students from local high schools—particularly those with limited college experience—who aspire to pursue higher education at institutions like UNCW.
