Musical Members! Please see the message from Judge McGiffin below!

ATTENTION: Lawyers who are musicians. The Chancery Market has approached me about organizing music for their venue on some Mondays after the workday. The hope is to build community among folks working in law in Wilmington. I offered to organize the effort. If you are a lawyer looking for a place to play or sing or both, this may just be the ticket! This also could be a small but mighty fundraising opportunity for the law-related charitable organizations among us.

If you are interested in helping with this effort, performing a few songs for a live audience, or jamming with other lawyer-musicians, or if you have any questions about this matter, please let me know at [email protected].

It is with profound sadness that the Delaware Bench and Bar mourns the passing of Pat Quann, the former longtime Executive Director of the Delaware Law Related Education Center. Pat worked tirelessly for years with the bench, bar, public and private schools, and the community at large to promote legal related and civic education. She did so with joy and passion and without seeking attention or praise. She was also awarded the Liberty Bell Award by the DSBA in 2012.

The DSBA would like to offer its sincere condolences to the family of former Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki, who passed away today at the age of 80.
