Many Delawareans are already feeling the impact of rising energy costs, and with the extreme cold we experienced recently and increases in natural gas prices, winter energy bills may rise even higher.

While we continue to work on policies to address these rising costs, I want all residents to know there are resources immediately available to assist with high energy bills. Whether you’re struggling to pay your utility bill or looking for ways to make your home more energy efficient, several programs can help. That includes the Delaware Energy Fund, which was created by the General Assembly last year to provide direct relief to customers who need it most.

If you or someone you know could use help, I encourage you to look into the resources listed in this graphic.
