Mount Pleasant High School is home to Delaware’s first high school radio station—91.7 FM WMPH, The Voice of BSD! 📻

For decades, WMPH has given students the opportunity to develop real-world broadcasting, media, and communication skills while sharing music, sports, school events, and community stories with listeners across the region.

It’s just one more way Mount Pleasant empowers students to learn by doing.

🌎🎓 A new chapter begins at Mount Pleasant High School!

We are proud to launch our inaugural year as a Dual Language Immersion High School, providing students with the opportunity to continue developing their bilingual skills while preparing for success in college, careers, and beyond.

Beginning in 9th grade, students can enroll in AP Spanish Language and Culture, strengthening their language proficiency while applying their learning in meaningful academic and real-world contexts. Students who successfully complete the AP program can continue into the Bridge Program, which provides course offerings that offer students opportunities to extend their immersion language and content knowledge into college and work environments. Additionally, students are well-positioned to earn the Delaware Certificate of Multiliteracy - a prestigious distinction recognizing advanced proficiency in multiple languages.

At Mount Pleasant, we’re preparing globally minded, multilingual leaders who are ready to thrive in an interconnected world.
