A huge thank you to all the families who came out and filled the halls of Bellamy with laughter and joy at this year’s Open House! Seeing the excitement as our kids discover their new classroom, and classmates, is so special! 🥹

We’re especially grateful for our incredible teachers, who truly are some of the very best Wilmington has to offer. Thank you for partnering with us, for trusting us, and for reminding us why this community shines ✨.

¡Muchísimas gracias a todas las familias que vinieron y llenaron los pasillos de Bellamy de risas y alegría durante la Noche de Puertas Abiertas de este año! Ver la emoción de nuestros niños al descubrir su nuevo salón de clases y conocer a sus nuevos compañeros es algo muy especial.

Estamos especialmente agradecidos por nuestros increíbles maestros, quienes verdaderamente son de los mejores que Wilmington tiene para ofrecer. Gracias por colaborar con nosotros, por confiar en nosotros y por recordarnos por qué esta comunidad brilla tanto.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for our Popsicles on the Playground event! It was so wonderful to welcome our new kindergarten families with sunshine, smiles, and sticky fingers! We loved meeting new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and helping kick off what we know will be an amazing school year at Bellamy!

Fue maravilloso dar la bienvenida a nuestras nuevas familias de kindergarten con sol, sonrisas y ¡dedos pegajosos! Nos encantó conocer caras nuevas, reencontrarnos con caras conocidas y ayudar a comenzar lo que sabemos que será un año escolar increíble en Bellamy.

📝 A Sign Up link will be sent to 1st–5th grade families during the first week of August to reserve a time to visit. This helps us provide a smooth experience for all families.

We wanted to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Jaksha, who is an incredible Teacher’s Assistant, and won TA of the year, last year! Not only does she light up the classroom, but she’s been pouring her heart into making Bellamy Elementary bloom, literally! Her time, care, and green thumb have filled our school grounds with color and life. Thank you, Mrs. Jaksha for always going above and beyond for our kids and our community. We’re so lucky to have you! :]

We would like to introduce you to the hardworking volunteers of your 2026-2027 Bellamy PTA School Board!

We know the thought of volunteering can feel overwhelming, and even intimidating, but you don’t have to be a board member to still contribute in a big way. We would love to encourage any parent interested in volunteering, at the school, or school functions, to please stop by the PTA table during the open house (Aug 20th). There are lots of simple ways to support our kids, and we’d LOVE to meet anyone interested! 😊
