This is the official page for the UNCW Association of Nursing Students! It is run by the ANS Secretary to post events/photos for ANS.

In 1947, consideration was given to the organization of statewide nurses student association to be sponsored by the North Carolina State Nurses’ Association. This thought was discussed at the annual meeting of the Advisory Council of North Carolina State Nurses in October 1948, and at the conference of represented faculty members from schools of nursing and nursing students held in March 1949. Exciting news! Our Fall 2026 Officer Interest form is now open! We have all positions opening up on the executive board of the Association of Nursing Students. If you are interested in serving as an officer next semester, please use the link in our bio to apply! All pre-nursing and nursing students are welcome to apply.

The application form will close on Friday, 4/10 at 11:59 pm. We hope you will think about this opportunity in leading the future of our club! 🩵

Join us at our meeting this Monday, 3/23 from 4-5 pm in VH 1542 to hear from current 2nd and 4th semester UNCW nursing students! This is a great time to hear from those ahead of you in the program and ask questions! 🙌🏻

Reminder that we have an ANS meeting this Friday at 11 am in VH 1542! Novant Health will be coming to speak with students about their Nurse Residency Program. Lunch will be provided!

ANS t-shirts will also be handed out to those who paid club dues and filled out the t-shirt form.
